Critter Tough animal proof vents and vent guards are made of a durable, perforated, galvanealed steel material specifically designed to keep animals like squirrels, raccoons, feral cats, opossums, mice, rats, reptiles, and flying stinging insects out of the attic space. These vents will not rip, tear or break.
Installation is easy. Use a bead of sealant (clear is preferred) all the way around the outside perimeter of the vent and install with 6) 1 1/2″, #10 gasketed, self piercing, pole barn type screws.
They can be installed on new construction or they can be installed over your existing wooden soffit vents as a soffit vent guard or as a replacement soffit vent.
Once installed, these Critter Tough® soffit vents allow exceptional air flow through the soffit vent while keeping critters out.
